My name is Dan Gurney. I am currently working as the Creative Director - Interactive Design for Maritz Motivation Solutions in Fenton, Missouri. I specialize in creative direction and overall solution design for Interactive Media. I am typically involved in 4 or 5 projects all in a different phases and with different requirements so things are rarely boring. I strive to create a better interactive experience for users by interweaving design and technology.

I've worked with many fortune 500 companies in the past including: Anheuser-Busch, General Motors, Acura, Honda, American Express, St. Louis Rams, Hewlett-Packard, Nokia, and Harley-Davidson Motor Company.

Responsible for all aspects of interactive design including: web, CD/ DVD ROMs, kiosk presentations, high-end flash animation / programming, and user interface (GUI).


  • Designed and developed all Macromedia Flash creative concepts, animations, GUI interfaces,
    graphics, and data processing forms.
  • Used Photoshop and Illustrator to create custom graphic elements (bitmaps and vector images)
    to import directly into Flash for manipulation and special effects
